Please pray for Johnette Benkovic

Who is the host of EWTN show Living His Life Abundantly. Her husband Anthony has just passed away. Here is his memorial website including their incredible video entitled, "Carrying the Cross Together".

They lost their son Simon to a tragic accident after he returned safely from Iraq, and actually shared together their plans for Anthony's death from cancer. What a witness they are to the sacrament of holy matrimony!

Johnette has been an inspiration to me for nearly 20 years. This is so sad. I will pray for her and her family.

Johnette has insprired myself and my Russian-born wife. And, although Russia always maintained a connection to their historical faith in their Rich Orthodox Tradition, the actual application of the faith, through works, and testimonies of peoples around the world, and their dedication to the faith, was suffocated; hence, my wife would cry when she and I viewed the programming of EWTN, because in her heart, she knew the evil of the Soviet Union, and what has, unfortunately happened here in the USA--
People like Johnette, and Mother Angelica, are Soldiers in the Front Lines of the Battle for the Souls of the world-
Communism may be dead in the Old USSR; but a form of hedonistic materialism is alive and well in both the New Russia and the USA-
As we watch it crumble before our eyes-
Keep the Faith, Johnette, and we shall pray for your beloved Anthony--you know he is in Heaven--You shall not be separated forever--
God Bless you, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year-
PS: My wife is presently trying to talk her niece out of an abortion--
She lives still in Belarus, where Abortion is against the law, thanking God--but the girls go to Poland or Ukraine--Two Catholic Countries--to get these murderous procedures--
Please pray for us, also

I am just becoming a follower of Johnette. I saw her show yesterday about dating and marriage. She is an inspiration and will enjoy her. I am sorry, so long after the fact, that she lost her husband. God Bless her.
